Apical instability
Apical instability of the shoulder means that the humeral head is located higher up in the socket, with the consequent development of a bottleneck situation beneath the acromion. Since this type of instability is closely associated with the function and status of the rotator cuff and the ligaments, it is described and discussed in section 5.2
